HANGZHOU

The area around Hangzhou is extremely lush, with picturesque mountain peaks, spectacular gardens, lakes and streams that give the area its specificity. All this ensemble with traditional Chinese temples and settlements that are part of the UNESCO universal heritage, inspired us to harmoniously integrate the complex/polo resort by combining the traditional Chinese style with modern facilities and functions.
The complex proposed by us comprises a number of 77 villas (of which 28 are branded villas and 49 classical residential villas), 20 apartment blocks, 1 resort with boutique hotel, 1 polo club with hotel and auxiliary facilities and 1 shopping mall (VERSION 1 from which the renderings are made). All these basic functions are completed with urban facilities, such as: tennis courts, playgrounds for children, artificial beach, playgrounds for leisure or outdoor sports activities, etc.
The design of the buildings in the complex includes elements from the traditional Chinese architectural vocabulary, such as: simple & white walls, roofs with dark gray tiles, gardens with water holes, shutter panels with Chinese geometric motifs.

The area with blocks of flats (with a maximum height of 6 secluded floors) is like in a 5* condominium, with generous distances between buildings (15m), which would allow the privacy of the tenants. The blocks themselves are designed with large glazed surfaces, so that the owners can make the most of the surrounding landscape. At the same time, they are all equipped with the classical shutters, which we find in traditional Chinese urban homes, shutters that have geometric design elements. The apartments also have generous terraces.
The resort with the 5* hotel is oriented towards the lake, has a pavilion architecture and, in terms of design, it harmonizes with the rest of the proposed constructions.
